[Throwback] Beijing Photo Diary - Day 1

The first day in Beijing was not as good as I expected. Firstly, the weather was so bad. As soon as I got off the plane, my eyes hurt. The air was really polluted that day compared to Guangzhou's. Here are some pics I took on my way to the airport and on the plane. (The pics w/ watermarks were taken w/ films, the others were taken by iphone 4s or digital cameras.)

    I lived in one of my besties' dorm in Beijing Sports University. Since it was close to the Summer Palace, we went there at the afternoon I arrived. There were so many ppl in the palace, so I didn't take a lot of photos. You can see how bad the weather was in the pics below. The sky was grey and there were so much haze.

    I'm really intersted in visiting ancient Chinese buildings, they were simply marvelous and luxurious. So the bad weather didn't stop me that day haha.
    After that I went to Anhe Bridge cuz one of my fav folk singers was born there. Nothing special but ppl there were forced to move out a few years ago.

It was a tiring day, so we just went back and prepared for the trip to Qinhuangdao the next day.

Self Introduction

Maybe there are only a few ppl who click in this passage, I'm still gonna write something about myself and what I'm doing:)

My name is Peiyu He, this is how "PYHOO" comes from. Of course you can also call me Lovisa. It's a Swedish name but idc I just like this name so:) I'm 1.75m tall, which is pretty tall for Chinese girl, I feel kinda like a weirdo while walking on the streets sometimes:( 

I love to take pictures w/ my film camera but I don't feel comfortable in front of the camera. So I usually hide my face in my self portraits haha. Here are some pics that my face is showned. Hope you won't laugh at them! :D

I'm really interested in fashion, too. Although my models look unbelievably girly in my pics, I'm actually a boyish person. Yes I wear skirts but I never make them look girly. My fav colors are black, grey and white (without a doubt). 

And finally, about this blog. I'll try my best to update my blog at least three times a week, the posts are about #ootd, my photography works and the story behind them, travel diaries, beauty products, and inspirations. Seems like I've got too much to talk about! Thanks for supporting and reading this dull, long post!
